About Me
-
Describe Yourself:The following is in the form of an accrostic of HOMESCHOOL
H. Home. I was educated at home and loved it! How many other teachers allow their
students to sleep in till ten and do school in pajamas? Of course, there is more
to homeschooling than relaxation. I still shudder over algebra at times, but
homeschooling taught me to persevere through fun times as well as difficult math
problems
O. Obstacles. The last few years have been like driving a car with worn out shocks
over a dirt road. Car payments replaced several college courses, making me go
part time. A bunk at my friend's house replaced my original home. But things are
slowly improving. If anything my difficulties showed me how faithful God is.
M. My reading list: "Rose in Bloom" by Louisa May Alcott, "The Chronicles of Narnia"
by C. S. Lewis, "The Cost of Discipleship" by Bonhoeffer, "The Persecutor" by
Sergei Kourdakov, and "The Lord of the Rings" by Tolkien...
E. Extended education: I take classes from Moody Bible Institute, and am two years
Into getting an associates degree. As of right now I'm in the middle of a
literature class and would dearly love any advice I can get on the subject.
S. sagacious feline. I have a cat. Pardon me. I mean to say that my cat has me for
a dutiful slave. Her name is Rainbow, but don't let that name fool you. She
has claws and an attitude to match.
C. Christian. Ever since I was born, my parents had me attend church. By the time
I turned five I realized that knowing Jesus meant more than dressing up and
going to Sunday School. While at a backyard Bible club, I realized that I was
a cute cuddly sinful kid, but that Jesus loved me enough to take the blame
for my wrong actions on Himself as He died on the Cross. So that day I asked
Jesus to be my personal Savior and forgive me forever. I know He did, because
God promised in Acts 16:31, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be
saved,"
H. Habits. I love Little Debbie Snacks, especially fudge rounds. But I always eat
those round chocolate cookies into squares. Go figure.
O. Opportunities for recreation: Some of my favorite hobbies are knitting and karate.
No. My hair is not blue and neither is my belt!
O. Over the border. Over the last few years I have had the priviledge of traveling
in Mexico, Canada, and Australia with groups like Word of Life. I have climbed
to the top of the moon pyramid in Mexico and walked the streets of Sydney. In
addition to sightseeig, these trips were packed with educational programs we
put on at schools and neighborhoods for kids, teens, and adults. I think I
learned more from these experiences than the people who attended the sessions.
L. Last but not least, Lord of the Rings is my favorite movie. Any fans out there?

Hello Keren! In response to your questions on my article,
"Even When I Fall".......
Your comment reads, "What a moving poem. Just curious, but is this a reflection on how you developed a relationship with Christ? It is amazing how God words to bring us to Himself and show us the extent of His love. Thanks for sharing this poem. Thanks also for responding to me first gather article the other day. I was so encouraged by your comments on the Holocaust Museum. Thanks."
This is from the heart of my soul, so to speak, to all people to let them know there is light at the end of the tunnel if they seek the Lord. Sure there will be many who don't know the Lord, when He comes back very shortly, but they will have the opportunity to know Him; should they choose to do so. Sadly, there will be many who won't and will not have everlasting life free of all pains of this world.
It is VERY hard for people who were hounded/brainwashed by their churches; NOT to believe that hell and fire is all they will receive; if they don't live by the rigid rules set up by their churches/ mankind. Many of these people are the ones who ended up on the streets and even worse dead, because they felt/feel there is no future; these too need to be reached and told there is NO SIN that can't be forgiven, except for the negation of the Spirit from God.
As GOD says, the least will come first. We as Christians, have a duty to our fellow human beings, of faith or not, to help all understand it is NOT about what you do in this short life, but how you can better humanity so we can all stand at the ready for the Lord!
Take care and keep up the good work!
